We had two main objectives. Raise money and awareness, but also provide a solution that raised the self-esteem of PIP's students by teaching them valuable life skills.
So we gave them Fruitful, an idea and brand that would give PIP students the experience they needed, handling cash, interacting with people and taking responsibility. By making and selling fruit juice
John Lewis already sponsored PIP, helping them with fund-raising and publicity so Fruitful was launched to the press in the rooftop garden at John Lewis Oxford Street.
And since the launch the students have all been learning pro-kitchen experience and maintaining the Fruitful garden, where they are growing fruits, veggies and herbs for the juices.
So basically the stall has kick-started a whole new programme at PIP to help students to develop.
